Several shock wave structures and wake stream characteristics


PIV measurement technology and processing method are developed for flow fields around solid boundary and shock wave, to investigate the unsteady flow field of supercritical airfoil under sub-/transonic conditions. With shock wave position effectively captured by PIV technology, and shock wave oscillation type and amplitude gained by statistical analysis of PIV data, flow field structures can be obtained in shock wave/boundary layer interference region and separation region. Influence of different boundary layer transition positions on shock wave position and structure are also studied.
